Upown opening in June, 2019 The Views Senior Living of Marion worked to go from a WELL registered to a WELL certified status. As a certified WELL™ project, RidgeView of Marion will enhance the health and well-being of both residents and employees by placing them at the heart of design, construction, operations and development decisions. So what does it mean to apply for WELL™ Certification? Here are a few key points:

• WELL™ is a building standard that focuses on 102 performance metrics, strategic designs, and programs that elevate human health
• Three levels can be awarded upon completion of the registered project: Silver, Gold and Platinum
• Performance requirements are set for air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind
• WELL™ includes assessments, performance testing and comprehensive peer review to achieve the WELL™ Certification

The Views of Marion has achieved WELL™ Certification at the gold level for both the Mulit-Family Assisted Living and Commercial Kitchen. There are currently only 8 WELL™ certified buildings in the USA.
